I am being recognized

very lucky and fortunate, and perhaps is because of my hard work, my jobs were being recognized by the new company within 2 months, and they are going to confirm me as a permanant staff by this month end, which means to say I only undergo 2 months probation instead of 3.

am very lucky to get a new job even before the last day at old company.
Now I am working with a Netherland based company selling Conveyor Beltings.
Never in my life I think I will enter such industry.

Although I only handle local sales orders, plus some simple exports (without LC), but I am telling myself I should give it a try, at least for the first 3 months

Moving Forward

Going ahead, I have already found a new job as a Customer Service Officer. Although I am not satisfied with the pay package but I hope I can adapt to the new environment as soon as possible.

Really I have to forget everything here in Van Houten and start my new working life with Ammeraal Beltech!

Good Bye Van Houten

It's time to say Good-Bye. Have been nine years + with Van Houten and since Hershey took over last year, there are so many changes.

Now my service with Van Houten / Hershey has been terminated and my last day with the company is March 31, 2010.

Already used to the every day life here.... and there seemed a bit loss especailly seeing the Van Houten Operations in a mess now. This is my baby where I have set up the procedures since my nine years in VH.

Well, just have to say Good-Bye.

A new day in Hersheys

Today is the start of my training at Hersheys Philippines. Will be staying in Manila for one week.

Just be fortunate to miss the earthquake. Heard from the office colleagues that slight earthquake stike their office at 8.00 am where I am on the way to office. S I do not feel it.

People in the office do not start work so punctually like what we in Singapore do. Hope I will have a good stay in Phillipines.

Hot weather

It's June and the weather is so hot, ranging around 25-33 Deg Celcius. Every night, just could not sleep without the help of air-conditioner turning on.

Hot weather also can make a person feels hot temper easily. I don't know, my girl will be having band performance tomorrow, and I felt that for the past few days, she was so fustrated easily, perhaps because of 'stress, because of 'band mates', tickets could not sell fast enough etc etc..... She don't know when she was stress, I also felt very stressful.

Sometimes is easy to comment certain behaviour when we saw on TV series, but when things happened to us, often we were not noticed that we also behaved that way

Gathering with old 'sec 4' classmates

Last Saturday evening I have a BBQ gathering with many of the 'old ' sec 4 classmates. It has been 25 years since we completed our 'O' levels. Times flies. Many of us are already father and mother, our children are mostly teenagers now. We have a good times chatting and the 2-3 hours gathering seemed not enough to finish the 25 years story. Every one is so keen to look forward to the next gathering!
